I was born in Zambia, Africa and spent the early years of my life living in Pretoria, South Africa. As I grew up I began to travel to places like Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique, Swaziland, Lesotho, Tanzania and Zanzibar. I also spent time on my grandfather's farm, raised several dogs and cats of my own, and treated injured birds and wildlife as a kid.
As far back as I can remember I wanted to work with animals. My constant exposure to domestic and wild life throughout the African continent grew that into a desire to become a professional veterinarian. Pleasant memories from that time in Africa are where the name Safari Animal Clinic comes from.
